Do any of you all out there have any ideas of four year degrees that have a fighting chance of landing you a job after you get out. I was going to get my six year Pharm D degree, but I hear that it is EXTREMELY competitive to even get into pharmacy school. Also, I hear that it is almost impossible to find a job as a pharmacist right now so I have decided that I will settle for a four year degee in something for the time being. Also, do any of you know which is the better school between the University of Texas and Texas A&M. I currently live in Colorado Springs, CO, but I am most definitely NOT going to go to CU-Boulder because I am not a pot head hippie or anything like that. Also, since I am from Tennessee/North Carolina originally, I believe that I will fit in better being around Texans. I realize that most of you first term student veterans out there married your hometown/high school sweethearts. With that being said, socializing with other students obviously isn't a concern for you since most of you are ALREADY married with families after you get out. Since that isn't the case for me, do you think that I would stand a better chance of making social contacts/friends in Texas since Texans are 100X MORE friendly than the stuck up people that I encounter on my community college campus here in Colorado? Again, I respectfully ask that you only answer this question IF, and ONLY if, you have been in my shoes before? Thanks!... Read More »
